Justin Bieber In Talks To Co-Star In Ashton Kutcher Buddy Flick
Bieber would reportedly play younger version of Kutcher in ‘What Would Kenny Do?’

Justin Bieber has already notched the third-highest-grossing documentary of all time with “Never Say Never,” but now the teen titan is looking at branching out into scripted moves as well.
After his well-received turns on “CSI,” the Los Angeles Times reports that Bieber is close to signing on to take the lead role in the buddy comedy “What Would Kenny Do?” opposite Ashton Kutcher. An anonymous source who was briefed on the project told the paper that the film delves into the relationship between a 17-year-old and his 30-something self, with the latter to be played by Kutcher, 33.
The movie, to be produced by Kutcher’s Katalyst Entertainment and Will Smith’s Overbrook Entertainment, will probably not get moving until next year because Bieber has touring commitments booked through 2012. Though the initial report said Bieber was “eyeing” the movie, an update posted late Wednesday clarified that the project has been under development for months “with Bieber both in mind and on board.”
It wouldn’t be the first time the dynamic duo has tried to hook up, coming on the heels of a reported meeting in January in which Kutcher discussed Bieber hosting a rebooted version of “Punk’d.”
The “Kenny” script was originally described as an R-rated comedy about “a teenager who meets a hologram claiming to be the adult version of himself; the hologram then helps guide the teen through high school.” It got a more PG-13 revision from “(500) Days of Summer” writers Scott Neustadter and Michael Weber, who had Kutcher’s successful character going back in time to help the awkward present-day Bieber.

Michael Jackson Estate Rakes In $310 Million To Date
Singer left behind more than $400 million in debt.

Between album sales, movie profits, licensing arrangements and lucrative deals for Cirque du Soleil shows, the estate of late King of Pop Michael Jackson has raked in more than $300 million since the singer’s shocking death in June 2009.
According to TMZ, legal documents released on Thursday reveal that executors of MJ’s estate have managed to make a major dent in the more than $400 million in debt that Jackson owed at the time of his death.
The first accounting from the executors shows that they have already spent around $159 million paying back various debts, income taxes and other expenses, which include providing support for the pop star’s mother, Katherine Jackson, as well as his three young children.
“Although there remain unresolved creditor claims, pending litigation and additional challenging business, tax and legal issues, and the estate is not yet in a condition to be closed, the executors have made substantial progress in reducing the estate’s debt,” the documents state, according to a Reuters report. Two of Jackson’s longtime confidants, attorney John Branca and music executive John McClain, were named as administrators in a will sign by the pop icon.
In addition to paying to make “substantial improvements” to the Jackson family’s Havenhurst estate in Encino, California, the executors also spent an undetermined amount of money on “last illness and funeral and memorial service expenses.” Those costs included a $900,000 payment to the Forest Lawn Memorial cemetery where Jackson is buried and $35,000 on expenses described as “costume for memorial.”
TMZ reported that not only did the famously cash-strapped Jackson have more than $400 million in debt, but his estate also owed more than $40 million to concert promoter AEG tied to the scuttled This Is It Tour, for which MJ was rehearsing when he died unexpectedly. They’ve also paid $27.2 million in taxes and $4 million in mortgage payments on Jackson’s properties.
Despite the solid sales of the Michael album and millions of units of the singer’s back catalog being sold, as well as the box office of the “This Is It” movie and DVD sales, the estate is not nearly out of the woods. TMZ noted that the administrators have received more than 65 creditors’ claims, some of which are subject to “extremely high” interest rates, and there are several outstanding lawsuits against the estate in several countries.

Lady Gaga might have recently tweeted that she’s basically wrapped up production on her May album, Born This Way, but the singer shared that there’s still work to do on her piano ballad “You and I,” which it seems has made the final cut.
“I can’t tell you who yet, but someone legendary is producing this next song,” Gaga told the crowd at her tour stop in Anaheim, California, on Thursday night, an eyewitness confirms to MTV News. “I’m so excited.” The singer added that she “can’t wait” for fans to hear the May 23 release.
Whoever the person is she hooks up with, they will be joining previously announced producers RedOne, Fernando Garibay and DJ White Shadow, who all have contributed tracks to the highly anticipated release.
With the album’s first single, “Born This Way,” still burning up the charts, fans have been hungry to know more about the album’s next single, “Judas.” With some lyrics already floating around the Internet, it’s only a matter of time before Gaga and her creative director, Laurieann Gibson, get to work on the video for the track.
“It’s no surprise, I’m sure, to many of you, that Judas is a man of the biblical senses, so expect to see some symbolism in this video,” Gaga explained. “You have to look into what is haunting you, and you need to look into forgiving yourself in order to move on. And it’s really fun to dance to and sounds like it could be a pop priest record.”
Tell us your guesses who the “legendary” producer of “You and I” will be in the comments below!

Ludacris ‘Inspired’ By Aspiring MCs At ‘Live Large’ Competition
‘It’s all about competition,’ he tells MTV News about Magnum-sponsored freestyle contest whose winner will get to perform with Luda.

Ludacris is a marquee hip-hop artist but he has no problem lending aspiring rappers a hand.
On Monday, the Atlanta-based MC/actor was at New York City’s Highline Ballroom for the Magnum-sponsored Live Large Project 2, a hip-hop/freestyle competition that gives contestants a shot at a cash prize and the chance to perform alongside Luda at Springfest 2011 in Miami.
It’s the second year Luda has participated in the event, and the Disturbing Tha Peace Records founder said it always makes him remember his days as a hungry unknown.
“I remember being an aspiring artist and up-and-coming rapper and wishing I had opportunities like the one that Magnum Live Large Project is giving out — $5,000, a trip to Miami, able to perform — all of these different things is good, man,” Luda told MTV News. “It’s all about competition. That’s what hip-hop is all about anyway.”
The Highline stop was just one of four regional events that span the West Coast (Bay Area), South (Miami) and the Midwest (Detroit). The top three contestants from each region, as well as a fifth selected via YouTube, will make the trip to Miami to compete for the $5,000 prize. New York’s top three winners were Perelli, Renegade and Pumpkinhead, who won $1,000 for being the fan favorite.
According to Ludacris, anyone who’s achieved his level of success should feel obligated to support events like this one and serve as a source of inspiration.
“It’s definitely important for me to give back to MCs coming up,” he said.”That’s part of the reason we do what we do. You can never forget where you come from or how you came up. I’m very excited to be doing this. And don’t get it twisted, I’m getting inspired my damn self by watching the up-and-coming rappers and it’s making me realize and remember back in the day when I was the same way.”
A rap industry neophyte that Ludacris thinks highly of and can relate to is Big K.R.I.T. After making strides independently, the Meridian, Mississippi, rapper and producer signed with Luda’s label home, Def Jam, last year and recently released a new mixtape, Return of 4Eva. Luda, along with Bun B, makes an appearance on the remix of “Country Sh–.”
“When [Big K.R.I.T.] speaks, you can feel his heart,” Luda told us. “His heart is on the outside of his chest. He’s talking about his experience and being from the South and being from Mississippi. Just respecting the fact that he’s the production side as well as spilling his heart out on the beats, I can respect that.”
Ludacris is working on his eighth album, Ludaversal, due out later this year.
